Update: January 19, 2021

Dear Member,

We are pleased to announce we will be reopening our St. Louis Park, Andover and Burnsville branches beginning Friday, January 22, with limited hours.

In order to keep our employees and community safe, we will continue to follow the Minnesota Stay Safe guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by implementing social distancing measures, offering hand sanitizing stations and sanitizing shared spaces and frequently touched items. We ask that you do not enter the building if you have been exposed to, or have had any COVID-19 symptoms within the past 14 days. Face masks will be required to be worn by all employees and members over the age of five and members must follow social distancing guidelines.

As an essential business, SharePoint has remained open through the COVID-19 pandemic to serve you and keep you financially well. To comply with the Governor’s recent Minnesota Stay Safe Plan, SharePoint will temporarily adjust how we serve you, to best protect our members, staff and community as COVID-19 cases in Minnesota and neighboring states spike.

Effective Monday, November 23, 2020, our lobbies will be temporarily closed; we will offer appointment-only services. Drive-thru services will continue normal operations. We will easily and conveniently serve you online and by phone, with timely responses; most transactions can be completed without stopping in.

Update: November 10, 2020

We wanted to share some recent changes occurring at our St. Louis Park branch location. Out of an abundance of caution, we are closing the St. Louis Park branch lobby beginning Monday, November 9, 2020 until further notice. We have closed the lobby due to a reported case of COVID-19.

The drive-thru will remain available to you Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, and Saturday, 9:00am – 12:00pm.

We continue to take pre-cautionary steps to reduce exposure among our staff. In order to keep our employees and community safe, we ask that you do not enter the building if you have been exposed to, or have had any COVID-19 symptoms within the past 14 days.

We encourage all members to utilize our open drive-thru locations, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Remote Deposit Capture, MoneyPass ATMs, night deposit, and our dedicated call center.

With COVID-19 cases rising, we have made the difficult decision to adjust our branch lobby hours to ensure the health and safety of our communities and staff.

Update: June 1, 2020

As Minnesota businesses slowly begin to reopen, we wanted to inform our members of our plan to reopen our branches. As an essential business, SharePoint Credit Union has remained open during the pandemic and continued serving our members through the drive-thru and limited lobby appointments. Beginning Monday, June 8th, we plan on reopening the Saint Louis Park and Burnsville branches with several enhanced safety precautions to ensure we are providing a safe environment for our members and employees. 

Here is the information you need to know regarding the reopening of select SharePoint branch lobbies.

  • Burnsville and Saint Louis Park branch lobbies are set to reopen June 8th. We will continue to provide service at our Medina branch through the drive-thru.
  • Andover, Bloomington, Plymouth and Virginia branches will remain closed for the time being. We will notify our members as we continue to open our remaining branches when the time comes.
  • Branch hours may vary by location. Please visit our website for specific branch hours at www.sharepointcu.com/locations.
  • Social distancing. We will have markers on the lobby floor to indicate a safe social distance from other members. We will also limit the number of members inside the branch at one time.
  • Branch safety. Member-facing employees will wear masks during business hours. Plexiglass shields have been installed and there will be a hand sanitizing station available.
  • Masks. Although we will not be requiring masks to enter the branches, we highly encourage members to wear them for the safety of others. If you choose to wear a mask, you may be asked to step back six feet and remove your mask so staff can properly identify you.
  • Cleaning. We have increased our cleaning efforts and continue to disinfect high-touch surfaces and member service supplies throughout the day.
  • Coffee and water stations. These stations will be temporarily unavailable.

We want to make this transition as safe, easy and convenient as possible. We look forward to seeing you soon and continuing to serve you.

Your Deposits Are Safe

We encourage you to talk with a SharePoint CU Representative regarding any financial concerns you may have, rather than withdrawing large amounts of cash, as the withdrawal of cash eliminates the NCUA insurance, and could put you at unnecessary risk. Your deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) per individual up to $250,000, while SharePoint CU offers an additional $250,000 of Excess Share Insurance (ESI). SharePoint CU members can rest assured their money is safe.
