Money Market

A Money Market account from SharePoint Credit Union benefits members even more, because it pays greater yields on hard-earned savings, and the savings are insured through the National Credit Union Association* (NCUA). With a minimum deposit of $5,000, a Money Market account from SharePoint provides a wide range of benefits:

Dividends Are Paid Monthly

The dividends earned on your SharePoint Money Market account are determined by our Board of Directors (at their monthly meeting) and paid automatically at the end of each month. Four levels for earning dividends are available and are calculated based on the average daily balance you maintain in your Money Market account:

• Average daily balance between $5,000 - $9,999.99
• Average daily balance between $10,000 – $24,999.99
• Average daily balance of $25,000 - $49,999.99
• Average daily balance of $50,000 and more

If the average daily balance in your Money Market account falls below $5,000, you will receive the same dividends declared each quarter for the Regular Share Savings account products.

Convenient Access To Your Funds

Accessing your Money Market account is both convenient and easy. SharePoint members can make unlimited, in-person transactions at any of our convenient branch locations. We also provide convenience checks when you open your account you can use for making purchases from your Money Market account. A minimum of $500 is required for each withdrawal you make from your SharePoint Money Market account.

Money Market accounts are governed by federal Regulation D. Members are allowed to make a total of six (6) electronic withdrawal transactions per month, with no more then 3 of these 6 transactions made by convenience check. Please see a SharePoint Member Service Representative for more details.

No Maintenance Fees

There are no monthly or annual fees** to open and maintain your Money Market account at SharePoint.

Convenient Deposits

Watch your Money Market account grow by setting up direct deposit or payroll deduction with your payroll or government check. It takes only minutes to set up and will make saving even easier.

Monthly Statements

Just like our Advantage Checking product, SharePoint members will receive a monthly Money Market account statement which outlines all deposits and withdrawals.

Online Banking

Access up to date information about your SharePoint Money Market account or transfer funds 24 hours a day with our Internet Banking. Simply login to Internet Banking using your member number and Personal Identification Number (PIN). It is free and easy to use.

Teller Line Connection (TLC)

Don't have access to the internet but still want to access your SharePoint Money Market account? You can use our free phone banking service, Teller Line Connection (TLC), 24 hours a day review your account balance or transfer funds.

*Savings are insured up to $250,000 through the NCUA. SharePoint also offers an additional $250,000 of insurance through Excess Share Insurance (ESI) Corporation.

** Fees will be charged for non-sufficient funds (NSF), stop payment or to receive a copy of a paid check. These fees are the same as those charged for SharePoint's Advantage Checking product.
