Reg D
Reg D is a Federal regulation limiting the number of transfers, withdrawals and third party payments from non-transaction (Savings & Money Market) accounts, designed to distinguish savings accounts from transaction (Checking) accounts. Reg D also regulates the level of reserves a financial institution must make.
